Although these apartments are new or relatively new, the apartments are rather expensive for the area. In addition over the past 11 months working with the management has been very difficult. Overall the management is not understanding. The worst part has been trying to move out. We submitted a written notice that we were going to leave in 60 days on May 2nd (61 days before the end of the month we were to move out) and they informed us by written letter that our letter was submitted 1 day too late and we needed to stay another 30 days. Zero understanding. A friend had a similar problem with the management less than 12 months ago. I would not recommend Northern Lights Estates nor the other apartments that they rent in the Fond du Lac area (Royal Oak, etc...) because of the management team.
