I am not sure where the other tenants reside within the complex but I have been here since September of 08 with 2 children under the age of seven. I have no desire to move anytime in the near future. Management has been nothing but fantastic- my keypad on my garage door didn't work-batteries were replaced before I was home from work. My garge door opener was in my vehicle inside and I just followed the instructions on how to access your garage if the power was out. Pretty simple; I rescued my neighbor one morning as well. There is a bit of area for children to play but what is even better is walk 2 blocks away and there is the NFDL Village Park- my kids love to play here. When we got heavy rains a bit of water came under my front door and the weather guard strip was replaced in less than 24 hours from my call. I would suggest treat others how you want to be treated and respect your neighbors and management and there should be no problems.
I haven't gotten any negative letters on my door. There were notices in regards to moving vehicles for plowing when the snow flew. Also a notice that the office moved and then one to not grill on your patio; I think it is safe to assume someone let that get out of hand and may have melted the siding. That isn't management's fault that we cannot have grills on the patio; it is the incompetant people with no common sense.
I can hear the two little girls in the apartment above me but they are kids playing. In moments like that I look at my two kids and am thankful they aren't up there; it would be much louder. Kids will be kids- they aren't destructive or out of control they are just playing. I have 100% confidence if it would get too loud, the management here would definitely address it.
