Move somewhere else!

No, Mission Hills is not getting it right. It was right and they had a good team until good office staff and good KNOWLEGEABLE maintenance crew quit due to Office mismanagement. For some reason a good manager, with Managerial Awards who took over after Terri quit, was sent to manage a different property instead of Mission Hills, which he lives at so how stupid. The new maintenance crew can't fix anything and it takes hours if not days longer than the previous crew to TRY to fix anything. Balconies are falling apart. There are never enough parking spaces because half the cars don t have permits and don't belong to anyone who lives there. The sidewalks are never clear of ice and snow and the plowing jobs are bad. There are always washers and dryers down which take months to fix and the laundry facility drains backup with waste that they also leave there for months, very unsanitary. One of the pools is closed almost all summer or they leave it open not functioning properly just so tenants don't complain. Past maintenance crew told me that they have had to come out of their own pockets for Chlorine for the pools and for other items that MH has no money for. The hallways are rarely vacuumed. It looks like a dump, mattresses, couches, garbage, etc. lying all around the dumpsters, just drive around the place once, it s unbelievable! The grass is rarely cut in the summer months making it very buggy. With all that you have to put up with, the rent is not reasonable even if does include heat, which goes down half the winter months anyways. All the renovations being done are to only certain select few apartments and the rent for those will be much higher. There are so.. many vacant apartments because they can t get anyone to rent them. Also, they just sent out notices that you can not have a cat and a dog, one or the other so where does that leave the tenants who have lived there for years and have a dog and a cat' They have to get rid of one of there pets' I don t think so! Also, to talk to the new manager is by appointment only for the first time in the history of MH s, must be a reason for that too. They just don t care about there tenants. Hope you find somewhere else to live!
