Never Again

At first we loved our apartment. Then things started to break (mind you we lived there for 24hrs when the trim around the door fell off.) Our master half bath has a huge mirror and vanity BUT no outlets!!! THe shower rod fell off the wall the first time we hung the curtain. When one of your neighbors turns on the hot water and your in the shower, you know it (only 2 hot water heaters in our building with 23 units to share them.) There are three washers and three dryers, only 2 washers have worked for the last 2 years. (But there's a note on the one saying someone has been there to see it and all it needs is to be connected.) Our kitchen cabinets are bowing out on the bottoms and the tiles on our kitchen floor are moving (you can see the tile flooring from the last time they remodeled.) They are in the process of remodeling all VACANT apartments and re-doing all patios and balconies. This has been going on for apx. 6 months now. I doubt I would ever suggest to someone that they should move into these apartments. Maybe if they had a unit on the side of the building away from the parking lot but mine is less than 15 feet from the parking lot and 10 feet from the public sidewalk so anyone and everyone can see in if the cheep, broken blinds they give you when you move in are left open. Ewww. While they were remodeling the units above us (this took most of the winter) the contractors they highered broke a window in the public hallway, it took 10 calls to maintence, me actually bring the guys over there myself and demanding it to be fixed (even with plastic) before they would fix it. The outer door on the other side of building, 2 inches of open space between the door and the floor below it. Yes rodents do get in the hallway because of it. Basically. If you move in make sure it's a renovated apartment in the same building as the leasing office. Maybe then you'll get a week before things start falling off the walls and breaking. But make sure it's in the leasing office. It's the only building that has been properly fixed and maintained. When ever the City of Franklin building inspector comes to check on the progress of the construction work they stand there shaking their head and then make the contractors do it over. There is a big problem here.

This is almost a compliment to Mission Hills. Trust me it is a lot worse than this! The manager, Jenifer or something, is nothing but a liar. Maintenance has quit, but it is no loss. They did not know what they were doing anyway. Every so often they come up with a big issue about the storage lockers in the basement. I have had the same one since I moved in a few years ago & was told I could use another one while waiting to have my balcony replaced. NOW they are saying they will cut off locks, if you don't call them AGAIN!! They must be too stupid to keep track of the paper work from one month to the next. I am sick of it. I cannot stand to talk to them, they really do make me sick. If they cut my locks off I WILL get an attorney. Then I might get enough $$ to move out of this slum. They are only fixing things that will sucker in new people. If you live here, NOTHING gets fixed. They do not even paint your apartment no matter how long you live here. I have never lived anywhere that you unit wasn't painted EVERY 2-3 years & routine maintenace was not done on your A/C.

the real funny thing is anyone who wants to live here is an obvious idiot. but for some reason people still rent here and renew their leases every year. i know because i just recently quit working at this -------- and have never met a group of such retards.
