I have read some of the reviews regarding Mission Hills. It seems as though most tenant living here do a whole lot of complaining. If they spent more time doing their share of taking care of the grounds, the maintenance guys wouldn't have so much unnecessary work to do. After all, the appearance reflects all who live here. Maybe some responsibility should be taken now. Starting with picking up your dog crap; "not verry responsible owners" The dumpsters are out here so that garbage may be put in them, not around them, how lazy. As far as the maintenance guy goes, he should have a workable shop, which ensures the jobs requested to get done, get done in some order. I am not sure of how many of us tenants have seen the shop before he got here, I did and it was a mess. He seems to be doing more than any of the past maintenance crews. Give him a break, he's only been here for a few weeks and the grounds, lockers, and basement look better than they had in the past. As far the buildings, they are all in the process of getting new roofs, siding, doors, gutters, balconies, and porches, thanks to the new management, this summer. Overall, its shapping up.

so this is obvoiusly written by one of the new employees. the ground are picked up by ex con temp service guys and the new guy also had temp help doing work orders. so think about who really doing the work. he'll see how great it is when he s switching companies whenever the renovation is done. because if you have half a brain and used a quarter of it you would realize this place will switch owernship again the land is worth more than the buildngs themselves. theres no way this new staff is getting such great reviews when they havent even worked here for a month. plus sont be fooled by the remods i know exactly what they did and here it is, new carpet, vinyl flooring, cabinets, countertops, light fixtures and water fixtures as well. otherwise they re still the same 40 year old shitholes they always will be.

I have a n idea as to whom wrote all these reviews. For one these apartments are shitholes...for now. For two, watch what you are saying about renters I for one came from California my husband was in the service and we came home and needed somwhere to go fast that accepted animals and we pay more for rent here than most of the HOMEOWNERS I know do for there nice homes!!! SO Not everyone here cant afford a home it is just convienient at the time. There are some real scum here that make it hard for the rest of us not to complain!!! So for everyone that lives here clean up your own dog ---- and get off your LAZY asses and pick up the garbage can lids to throw out your garbage!! And to the person who calls me pitifull....Do you own your own house? I dont see how on the pay you get for working or HAD been working here at Mission Hills cause I MAKE MORE THAN YOU working Part time!!!!! Anyways bottom line is I'm glad the place is owned by new owners AGAIN but at least this company has money and is getting rid of all the losers who dont pay rent and cant follow the simple rules of keeping this community a good one!

Hey like I said I used to work there!! I don't know how much houses are in California, but if you think you can live in a house in Franklin for under $800 a month than you don't deserve any better than where you are right now. Property taxes alone are around $6000 a year, and yes I do own a house. So if you make more than I do working part time than move somewhere other than your "--------" apartment. Go ahead complain more, I could care less. I live comfortable you don't!!

I think I know who the above past employee is. Hope he is doing well. He is right, anyone who could afford to get out of here & stays is an idiot. You talke about new roofs & other stuff on the outside of the apartments to make this place look good & sucker more people in. NOTHING is done to fix or even maintain the apartments we live in now. I have been here over 4 years & have not gotten ANYTHING fixed since I moved in. I am thankful I know how to fix some things myself. Parking is very bad. Some apartments have 3 cars! Now they want to charge everyone who has 2 cars for the 2nd car. Heat & water WAS furnished. On your next lease you WILL be paying for BOTH. There is a reason this is called "The Franklin Slum" by the community around us. Yes, SOME is due to tenants, but even that falls on mamangement for not doing anything to enforce the rules & get rid of those who trash the place & do not clean up after thier pets. Also, it is management that rents to anyone with $$$ no matter how many people or animals will be living in the apartment.

We have been here for 4 years also and have no problems when we call for help. We treat our apt. like it was our home. We have always had compliments on how we take care of our apt. Landlords take care of good tenants, so maybe instead of alway's writing bad reviews pitch in to make this a better place. I do agree that alot of the problem is the office doesn't scrutinize applicant's enough, but I'm sure the low life's that do move in here lie on their application's, and once they're in it's hard to get them out. It's not beneath me to pick up garbage that is lying around and throw it out. This is better than having rats taking over the place.

I lived at Mission Hills from 1999-2005, things were just ok there then, not bad, but could be better, but us tenants that lived there back then actually took pride in our place, yes the management sucked then and it looks like it still does, but if there was garbage on the ground we picked it up, if someone needed help with something we helped, it was a community not a dump. I see there are new owners again, that is FIVE since 2001, did anyone think of calling the owners instead of the manager that doesn't even have a rental license, and can't do anything anyway, that is the way I got things done, the owners in 2005 were in Chicago, and had not been told anything about the complaints made to the manager until I called, at which time she was fired. Complaining is a good vent, however, complaining to the right person gets things done. A little bit of research could make that place change back to what it used to be.
