I have to say, we chose these apartments because of the spacious design. I did a lot of apartment viewing throughout the area before I chose Whitnall Point. It is definately the best value (even at the current $720/mo)
I have to agree that the parking situation is very bad in this complex...although my roommate and I complained and we were given complimentary underground parking for the winter months (when street parking is restricted overnight)
The neighbors are what you should expect for a reasonably cheap apartment complex...they have no regard for the property, often leaving trash in the halls, basement...driving on the lawn to move in/out...and no thought towards their neighbors when it comes to noise.
I also have to agree the the "fitness center" is a joke. Half of the 5 peices of equipment are broke, the hours are something like 8am-10pm, which allows for no morning workouts.
The staff are relatively friendly, but phone messages were "not received" on multiple occasions.
The laundry system is a joke. As another reviewer commented, there are two systems, ours happens to have the card "charger" inside the office (which closes weekly at 6pm)
Overall, if you're planning on a decent place to stay for less than two years, this is the place on the SW side of Milwaukee County. AD2Hw9Wn8Umb3NN1w1jt
