We lived on the lower level and when drops of water began leaking through the ceiling in our walk-in closet, we notified the leasing office immediately. The leasing manager told us to "keep an eye on it" and let her know if the problem got any worse. I asked her to come over one day and look at how bad it actually was. By that time, one wall had water seeping through it and the standing water had burst through the ceiling. The manager didn't think that it seemed to be too much to worry about (never mind the terrible musty smell that soaked into our clothes and bedding). Eventually the ceiling collapsed and surprise, surprise...maintenance located a broken pipe that had been gushing water for about a month. When we moved out they hadn't even put in a new ceiling yet! I feel terrible for the people who moved in after us. If they only knew the hell that my boyfriend and I had been through. The management is terrible and they are not helpful at all. We never had a place to park...our reserved parking spots were taken over by visitors. We were told by one office employee to simply park in the Handicapped Parking Spot. You can't get more disrespectful than that. Your life will become a living hell should you move here. Don't do it. There are plenty of apartments out there that actually have caring office staff who get things done.
