To be decided...high prices, no snow removal, poor administrative decisions

When looking, I loved the green space and the opportunity to bring my dog. The apartment was a decent size and the amenities seemed great. Keep in mind as you read further, that I have been a decent tenant-rent is always paid, we are quiet, rarely home.I am NOT writing this for revenge. Just an honest experience. Once I moved in, I was not provided with the storage space(which was the largest) that I had been shown to me. I finally received it after 7 months. They now have dug up all the green space that I previously mentioned to put in a "parking lot" due to lack of parking. With the loss of green space and insufficient time to asphalt, they put down a gravel mixture which is either solid ice or mud. Unless you have a 4x4, you cannot park in the lot, and cars that have made it-actually slid down...INTO other cars!! My father and son have both fallen trying to get to the visitor lot which is now a mound of snow. In addition, since they installed this chaotic mess, they have opted out of shoveling the sidewalks and have done a poor job of plowing and snow removal altogether. Since the sidewalks are not shoveled, you are forced to walk through the disgusting parking lot-an absolute disaster. If you complain to Sarah-you get results, but if you complain to anyone else(Loretta,Property Manager), nothing is done. It is unfortunate that they do not allow her a little more say. I spent almost an hour discussing the poor snow removal, I should say-lack of snow removal, with Loretta and it is not yet resolved, instead she put a trail of sand (yes-Sand!)down to walk across. You can imagine what the hallways are starting to look like. Now, after only 7 months, they are raising the rent if you shoose to sign a new lease($20)and requesting that it is done within the next 2 weeks or they will raise it even more ($25)!!In addition, the laundry room keeps flooding and you only get 1 washer and dryer for 11-12 units! The h2o from the wash machineoften leaks into the storage areas or onto the hall carpet. The laundry (CoinMach) machines rarely work. If you find a day it is working, put as much $ on it as you can, because it is not often that it does function properly. The exterior doors, in winter, do not seem to close all the way, which is a safety concern. You do pay for locked lobby, but there is no guarantee you will get it!
Truthfully, it is not all bad-my neighbors are great, but think twice before signing...I wish I would have. There are many other options out there.

I agree w/ this review. I also live at Whitnall Point. The sidewalks were never shovelled after the snow storm a couple weeks back, and since then turned into ice.
While the apartment was cleaning out the storage areas/basement, my entire storage was put into a dumpster- even boxes w/ my name on it. Luckilly, I was able to stop them in the process, and got only a couple items back.
Sarah is the ONLY helpful personm at the management office.

I diisagree. I think they did a wonderful job with snow removal considering the extreme winter we had. The City sidewalks were worse. I commend the staff.

If you think your building was bad, read my review I posted!! I sure hope we can turn people away from signing a year lease with these guys.

Looks like management is responding anonymously again.
This post is accurate. Talking to Loretta is like talking to the wall. That's why the staff is constantly turning over. Even Sarah said enough is enough with Loretta
