I have been living in Whitnall Pointe for 2 years now and I have been hating every minute of it for the past 5 months. For the first year and a half, it went well. 6 months ago a girl moved in above me. Since then she has created nothing but problems for me and my neighbors. She has a ginormous dog that she lets urinate off her balcony right on to my porch. She is up at all hours of the night, allowing the dog to run around and bark until it's heart is content. She regularly throws garbage off her balcony and I've had numerous instances where I've found puke, both dried and still fresh, dripping from her balcony onto my porch. I have begun calling the police every time her dog is barking at 2am. My neighbors have done the same. I have contacted the leasing office numerous times with these complaints and have gotten the same response. "We are looking into it." Every now and then they pretend to care and tell me she will get evicted if the behavior persists. Obviously this has not happened.
And to make matters worse, in the past 2 months I have started to get warnings on my car for parking in the lot I pay for! I have now received 2 seperate warnings and will be ticketed if I am caught parking in my own lot.
I implore you to look else where when finding some where to rent. This company is obviously content with sub par service, knowing that people will pay because it's cheap. There are much better apartments out there within the same price range.

So you wind up with a bad neighbor and its the fault of the leasing office? "Horrible", hunh. I'm curious as to whether you own a dog. It's always interesting reading negative comments from people who dont have pets yet choose to live in a pet building.
Have you made an attempt to talk to your neighbor about the problems? That can help. I live at Whitnall and once I found out my dog was doing something offensive to my neighbor I put a stop to it.

Yes, in fact I have a dog, a well mannered one that doesn't bark. And yes, I have tried contacting the neighbor, the office, the police, any one that will listen. They have been giving me the run around for way too long. The police have issued citations in the matter. So yes, it absolutely is the fault of the leasing office. It is their responsibility to provide a reasonably clean and quite living environment. Neither of which they have.

I think as an adult, you should try to resolve the problem with the neighbor yourself. If you do speak with her and continue to still have problems then you should have contacted the office.

Sounds to me, like it's just a case of a bad neighbor which can happen at any apartment. I'm thinking of moving to Whitnall Pointe and this is the only bad review I've read. I currently have a HORRIBLE neighbor living above me, but it's truly not the fault of management.
