I have lived at Whitnall Pointe for the past 5 years. Overall it's an ok place to live and the main reason I moved here was I have 2 large dogs. The apartments themselves are dated and have a 70's theme and not well insulated. But they do have a very nice pool and fitness center and have a hiking trail to Whitnall Park which is a plus. Maintenance has gone through their ups and downs over the years but Steve has been here forever and does a great job. A huge reason that people stayed here was because of Sarah who worked in the office for many years. She was the one that always took care of the residents and cared. The manager Loretta is not easy to talk to but you could always count on talking to Sarah and things would be handled. Sarah left late last year and things are not the same. The office has a revolving door and you have no idea who the new people ever are. Now that she is gone it is time to move out as much as I hate moving. Sarah we miss you.

I love the office staff and enjoy seeing new faces in the office. Amber & Renee are so easy to talk to and Lauretta has always been nothing but professional with me. I still live here and will continue to for years. Where else can you live with a park in your backyard? I've lived here for 2 years and have seen the same Maintenance people. They are always very timely and fixed my problems. Sure the apartments are from the 70's but they are still very clean and well maintained. When I was looking at apartments I chose Whitnall because of the beauty of the property and how professional the office was.

The apartments are really outdated and they don't seem to want to put any money into them. I have lived here for 3 years and would agree that maintenance has had its up and downs, but over the last year or so it has been pretty good and things are fixed in a timely manner. The office is another story. Loretta is a terrible property manager and going to her with anything will never get it done! They are really nice and accomadating when they want you to move in but after that forget it. I would agree that Renee is very nice and will help you. Amber is another story. She is very sarcastic and most of the time doesn't seem to know what she is doing. Friends of mine were thinking about moving in and she was helping them. She showed them apartments that were non-dog apartments when they told her several times they had a dog. She quoted them several different rent amounts and they were never clear on which one was accurate! When they confronted this she was very sarcastic with them. Needless to say they chose to move elsewhere. I've heard from several other tenants here that they have had several experiences like this with Amber also. So my advice is that if you are looking to move in here work with someone other than Amber in the office. It's time to move on for me...will be looking for a new place this spring.

Normally I dont post on things of this nature, but it seems someone above has a personal Vendetta against Amber in the Whitnall office. This is an obvious fabrication of reality. Sounds to me that someone messed up on their own accord and are childishly trying to cut someone down. My experience with the entire office staff INCLUDING Amber has been nothing short of pleasurable they are completely thorough, well versed, and accommodating to every need even after move in. There is not a single person I have talked to in my complex that doesn??t feel the same as myself. To anyone reading this, you will be not only satisfied with your experience, you will be ecstatic that you chose this property as your home!
I honestly cannot believe there is a single resident that could not get along and love this office, I say good riddance to the people like above we dont want you as a neighbor anyway.
Glad you are moving on!
