My wife and I have lived at Brook Park for more than 10 years. We have always found the staff helpful and responsive to the few minor maintenance problems we have had. There is not always someone in the office as everyone seems to have mulitiple duty responsibilities, but a recorder offers an emergency number if needed. Staff will accept UPS deliveries for you. As with most apartment complexes, parking for visitors is limited. Twice a year management enters the premises to inspect the smoke alarms and to install or remove the air conditioner covers. Noise may be a problem only if you have a neighbor who likes to crank up the volume. There are very few children in the complex. Snow removal is excellent, but if your car is parked outdoors at plow time it may get plowed in. Yard maintenance is excellent. Outdoor lighting is excellent and auto break-ins are rare. To my knowledge there have been no forced entries to any apartments in all the time we have lived here. I am not sure about withholding deposits, but I have heard this complaint. Satellite dish restriction: cannot be roof-mounted.
