I have been living at Brook Park since Dec of 2001 and have only experienced three rent increases. When I first moved in, rent was $605 for a 2 bedroom upper (1200sq). I currently pay $640. Over nearly 8 years have only experienced a total of $35 in rent increases which is very reasonable.

Management has always been very quick to respond to any maintenance issues (I've only had three thus far, one was garbage disposal broken, one for the garage door popping back open after closing (simple adjustment) and one year I had some water leaking from the roof in an interior wall. That was very early in my renting and the leak has not ever returned.

My building neighbors are very quiet. One of them even runs a business out of her downstairs apartment. She does leave her garage door cracked open about 2' several times a day to receive UPS packages when not at home, which I don't find very thrilling due to the security risk to the interior common hallway. I will be mentioning this to management this week. We did have a case several years ago with a neighbor doing drugs but they were quickly sent on their merry way.

A couple of weeks ago a car was broken into by a couple of kids. No other security issues that I've encountered. The neighborhood is very nice, primarily two other complexes to the immediate North and the single family homes and duplexes way down on Humboldt.

The apartments are very clean and easy to maintain. All you need is a vacuum, windex, swiffer/broom and a little elbow grease. If you keep up the maintenance regularly you won't have to go crazy when you leave. I can imagine that if you waited to clean some areas and then try to clean 5 years of dust and gunk it would be quite a chore.

I am happy at Brook Park and would recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a nice, large apartment on the East side of Green Bay.
