Would never recommend, even if your only other choice is a cardboard box!

Sometimes you can't trust people's negative reviews online, but in the case of Meadowview East, these reviews are horribly accurate! I only wish that I had gone online and checked these reviews before I moved in. The management was very difficult to work with and didn't seem to care about residents at all. Our friends across the hall had their car broken into in the parking lot, and when they told the management just to make them aware that it had happened and there would be a police report involving their facility, they refused to listen and stated that they did not want to know anything about it at all! I have never heard of managers more uncaring!

The parking situation was awful. How hard would it be to paint lines so that cars have actual spots to fit into' Instead, everyone just randomly parks wherever they choose, and you hope that there's a space anywhere near your apartment.

The apartment itself- where do I begin' The appliances included with the apartment look like they were made in the 1980s and run similarly. Our air conditioner didn't work at all- we spent a boiling hot summer with nothing to cool us down! We had insect problems with no relief- both ants and small beetles. We lived near the pool, and the apartments were not even slightly soundproof, so it was noisy from morning to night. It was a miserable environment, and we moved out as soon as our lease was up.

Oh, also a note on the laundry room: I never felt safe in our laundry room, since my husband and I once walked in on some illegal business going on in there. The walk to the laundry room was poorly lit, and the laundry room is tucked in a corner where illegal things can- and did- easily happen. Not only were there issues with safety, but the equipment worked poorly, requiring multiple rounds of drying before you could bring home actual dry clothes. Since this was coin laundry, you ended up paying a lot of money to finish a small load of laundry.

I would not bother even looking at Meadowview East, no matter what promotions they are offering! They have to offer their promotions, because this is the only way they can get anyone to move into these miserable apartments! There are much nicer places not far from here, so do your research and find much better options for not much more money.
