These apartments are very nice to live in. When I moved in the carpets were brand new and the stove and fridge are fairly new. The fridge did have some dead fruit flies in it when we moved in but, from what i was told, the people living there before us were pretty disgusting (that's how we got new carpets). The dishwasher is old but works just fine. The only thing I didn't like about the kitchen is that the wood cupboards weren't stained on the inside so food and oil marks can be seen well.
Maintenance does an excellent job and is available when needed. Our wall heater began leaking at 2 am and a maintenance man was there within a half hour and was willing spend time fixing the problem. The ladies at the reception office can be rude once in a while but are usually very friendly and able to answer all questions you may have.
Closets are standard size so not a lot of storage space. Our 2 Bedroom came with a storage unit across the hall for free which is very nice. Only one washer and dryer per building.
Apartments are not sound proof so the noise level really depends on the neighbors. We had no noise problems until we recently got a new neighbor below us who like s loud music. Sounds carry the most in the bathroom, I think it may be the least insulated. Noise is usually not a problem but once again, I guess it depends on your neighbors.
I haven't gone over to check out the pool and gym but it is only open during office hours, which means they close fairly early on weekends but i hear they are nice.
Parking can be hard to find after work hours .... they definately could use some more spaces. And there are no lines for spaces so people park all over the place. Garages are not included and cost $26/month $50 deposit.
The free cable includes about 24 channels and works fantastic. More channels are available for a reasonable fee plus the cost of the box. The free cable is very nice because of the high cost to get cable. To get free internet you have to spend about $100 on a modem so we just got DSL from AT&T because the free internet isn't very fast and I have heard from others it doesn't always work. Time Warner is not an option if living here. We called and they said they are not allowed to provide any services in the complex.
Smoking IS allowed in these apartments so if soemone lived there before you who smoked all of you cabinets smell like it and you can smell it when you get close to them.
Overall I love living here. I have a few gripes but nothing major. The only reason I would even consider moving is because they don't allow cats. Otherwise it's a fantastic place to live.
