I am a current tenant, and when I first saw these apartments, I thought it would be a great place to live with my newborn and my boyfriend. The apartments are located on Huron Rd. and surrounded by a great neighborhood. But within the first month, my outlook on this place began to shrivel. The noise level is ridiculous. You can hear every footstep and little noise, and it seems like people like to stomp up the stairs. My baby has been woken on several occasions because of the noise. When I approached the manager, she was actually the problem; she was the one who lived above me with her two adult sons. So, it was difficult to talk to her, and she did nothing to resolve the situation. And this manager would post ridiculous ranting notes on the bulletin board about random things like how to place your garbage in the bins. I have been renting for 3 years, and I have never had any problems until I lived here. Do not rent at Terrace Lake if you want to live in peace and quiet. The apartments may look nice, but looks can be deceiving.
