The thing I don't understand....

I have lived in my apartment for awhile. I am thinking the people who were leaving bad comments about this place obviously have not lived in other apartments before, or else they rented from their parents, who did everything at their whim. I had a few problems as I moved in, all I did was type up a small letter with the problems I was having ( which if you have ever rented from anyone before its great to have a copy of anything you say to management) and within 48 hours of when my letter was droped off in the office mail box I recieved a call back, within 24 hours hours of the call back The issues I had were fixed.
As far as the size of the dogs, the management says its Dog Friendly... so NO it does not limit the size of the dogs HOWEVER it does limit where the dog can use the bathroom (thank goodness) and it also requires the dog to be "people friendly". My lease perfectly states these facts as well as a few others like if your dog is a problem it will be required to be removed. Another thing I would like to address is someone in a previous post said we would have to be "friends" with the manager to get things done. This is also inacurite. I am not in anyway affiliated with the manager but the issues I am having are still being addressed. I also believe that author was anonmous I however am not, if you have any questions PLEASE FEEL FREE to contact me. I have nothing to hide. I like this place, its a great place for my girls to live... also its within walking distance to a schoolwhich is important to me. I can walk my girls to school in the morning and walk them home after work. It is also across from a nature preserve which is beautiful in the summer. The landscaping company keeps things beautiful spring through fall and as far as winter is concerned the grounds are safe not some icy death trap as some others would like you to believe. Also being in greendale I have found these are the most reasonable apartments around. Especially with heat included. The pool area is well maintained also the only way you can get in or out is with a key into the fenced area, so you dont have to worry about outsiders causing problems late at night. I highly doubt the maintenience man would let his dog swim in the pool. This would be a health risk and the management knows this.
Basically I am going to end this by saying this place is not as bad as some others would like you to believe. The place I moved from was 10000000000000000 times worse and they were more expensive. I really like this place and hate the picture others are trying to paint it into.
