Great place to live

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2004
We've been gone several years from Applewood Village Apartments. We left in Nov, 2004. All I want to say is that the property was very well maintained, the lawns were always kept mowed, flowers were planted, and grown by the maintance man, who had a greenhouse that he built himself. In the summer Jim always made sure the pool was clean for the kids. In the winter I remember Jim, and Tom's father at 4:00 a.m. shoveling, and salting the walks to keep it safe for the residents. Sometimes the snow was blowing so hard, they had to do it over again. Jim, the maintance man was always there when there was a maintance issue. We can remember when Jim would go to the store for our senior residents because of the cold, or in the summer when the weather was hot or just because. Maybe alot of people don't know that Jim & Loren lost thier only son to a gunshot wound, and after that devoted all thier time to AppleWood Village Apartments. Jim also served in Vietnam-We salute you, may you rest-in-peace. Lauren followed in death shortly after greiving the loss of her husband. We will miss her deeply.
The year is now 2008, with new owners, who are working very hard to give everyone at Applewood Village a beautiful place to live. Greendale is a beautiful community, and we would hope the best in the future for the new owners, and for new residents. I believe you will find this a very peaceful place to live......
