My now husband and I lived in a Crocus Court apartment for two years. We were looking for something clean, yet affordable enough to allow us to save for a wedding and a house (which we now own), and we found it at Crocus Court. There are no frills to these apartments - no pool, no garages, no upgrades - and they are on the small side. However, they are clean, well-maintained, reasonably updated and very affordable. All of our experiences with management were friendly and accomodating. When we once had a problem with our toilet, the manager sent a plumber ASAP. The on-site manager was very flexible with our move in and move out dates. Our designated parking spaces were just a few yards from our front door. The location is subperb - in the heart of Greendale, yet set back a block or so from the main drag of Broad Street. If you're looking for an affordable, basic apartment in a nice, quaint location, I'd recommend looking into Crocus Court.
