I live at American Colony Presently. I would have to say for the most part the complex is nice. I have a few complaints, but that is to be expected with an older apartment complex. Maintenance is OK. They get the job done,sometimes, they half-way do things a lot. They try to get by with as little work as possible. When we moved in, the apartment was a MESS!! The cleaning person was horrible. She Didn't know how to clean!!! The manager is a very sweet person, but not management material. A little to young. I love the 2 bedroom apartment I live in and I plan to stay for years to come, I just hope nothing else breaks : ) In the summer it is wonderful there. The pool is a wonderful way to meet new people. The fitness room is nothing to rave about but, it's free. Overall, this place is not SO BAD. Parking is fine during the summer, and terrible during the winter. They should really have assigned parking here.
