Hi people,

Before I moved into this facility I thought to myself, "Self, this place seems cool -I hope everything works out..."; almost a year later, I want to slap my old self!

The maintenance crew is fast but inefficient, the apartment I am in now has fixtures from the late 80's/ early 90's, the dryer is near the vanity area and caused issues where I couldn't properly shave as the light would come on with a prayer and a ceremonial dance. I reported the issues that the apartment had including rat droppings behind stove (no rats in the apartment thank God!), old fixtures, poor cabinets, crazy thermostat, and possibly contaminated pipes - each time, they bandaged the issue and needed to come back and bandage again.

The office staff is friendly for the most part, but I dropped off my check this weekend and the staff was somewhat rude and I almost wanted to throw the check in her face. I pay the rent early all the time and expect general service at least.

The grounds of the apartment are decent, great scenery and you can watch the cars along the interstate (sometimes feel a rumble if a large truck passes by). Snow removal is excellent.

Would not recommend my current apartment but I'm looking to upgrade to the 1 BR with den and avoid office staff until I save up enough for a home.
