I have lived at English Meadows for two years and hope to continue to do so for many more years. I chose this community because its large 1BR, 2BR and efficiency apartments are set among mature trees and plants, yet it is located just 5 blocks from the freeway and one block to public transportation. The affordable rents include plenty of heat and hot water and are NOT subject to income or age restrictions. I have been particularly impressed with all the property management staff. My personal experience is that they always have time to hear your concerns and respond quickly to any need. English Meadows is an older complex, built with solid materials. This is complimented by an ongoing program of upgrading apartments and appliances, as well as common areas. Finally, I have enjoyed getting to know good neighbors and, in summer, swimming in a well cared for pool with club house.
