For the most part I have liked Greenbrook. My mom and I started in an upstairs, then went to a downstairs. After living here about 3 years my moms job got a transfer to a different state so we had planned on moving, when somthing came up, that interfered with our plans to move, the staff at Greenbrook were very happy to help out and we were able to renew our lease after we had already told them we had to leave. Were now back in an upstairs apartment and love it the best out of the three. Our stove did not work when we moved in but the maintenance lady was very kind and did everything she could to get it fixed, we ended up getting a brand new stove just today that works wonderful. The office staff is wonderful and treat you with great respect and call you by your name, it does not seem like your just "that one tendent" to them. You can tell they really do care. The grounds are lovely, but the landscapers are out there sort of early in the morning. The apartment homes themselves are very nice espically for Milwaukee and you cant beat the price. The only thing that I would change if I could is to add some central airconditioning. The upstairs apartments espically are very warm in the summer, even with an in wall air conditioner. I also wish the hallways were taken care of a little more, they can be sort of embarassing becuase of how old they look, but thats not the end of the world, and the housekeeping staff still makes sure they are cleaned nicely. One last complaint is how dark the parking lot is at night time, there are lights but not enough to light much. Overall these are wonderful apartment homes and the best I have lived in. I would definitely recomend Greenbrook as a place to call home.
