If your apartment is run down its because this property was hud housing and slowly (Eric from chicago) got rid of those kinds of people. He was a very nasty man but karma will catch up with him.
It was a very nice and safe place growing up, everyone was family and it wasnt ghetto but that was 15 years ago.

who ever did this review, should be ashamed. just because part of the complex is for hud their is nothing wrong with them. its the owners who dont want to update things out from the 70's. eric was a good manager and these apartments aer not in the ghetto..

eric was a little rough around the edges but Karin has always been sweet to me. Keep the requests reasonable (remember these ARE apartments not home or condos) And they are very heplful.

When Erik was hired as the manager the agreement with HUD expired and the residents were all issued portable county vouchers; this gave them the choice to take their subsidy to any other landlord that would accept it. After this occured all voucher participants were not only welcome to stay but were offered and entire kitchen rennovation by the owners and Erik. I no longer live at Greenbrook however I thought that Karin also cared and took great pride in her job and the property. Therefore the person that wrote this review should probably gather their facts before writing a review on the internet.
