I have lived in Tara Hills for 8 months now, and it has been an over-all very positive experience. The apartments were built in 1976, but have been kept in very good repair. My apartment (a 1-bedroom) is spacious enough for a single person. But more than anything, it is the community of this place and the staff that have made it a good place to live.

My neighbors are all very quiet and courtious. It's a very peaceful community to live in. There are lots of kids running around (which makes the place lively to say the least), but from my experience kids are a good sign that an apartment complex is decent. And believe it or not, they all seem to be very well-behaved. There are also several elderly tenants who decorate their balconies with lovely plants and other various decorations. To sum up, it's a very family-friendly environment. Our complex tends to have community-events around holidays which I find nice. In particular, this past Halloween there were several activities which were fun even for those of us who were single and didn't have kids.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Any time that I've had a problem they've always gotten on it quickly. The maintenance guys who visit are always nice. The grounds are kept very lovely, and the complex is in a beautiful location and very quiet. It's also in close proximity to a Food Lion and a gas station, which comes in very handy. Commute to west Knoxville is about 15 minutes.

I don't want to sound over-the-top with praise, but it really is a nice place to live. I've lived in some bad apartments and know how hard it is to find a good one; I just hope this review might help someone find a decent place to live. I really think you'll like it here. My job is moving me elsewhere soon and I'll be leaving when my lease is up, but I've genuinely enjoyed my time here. It feels like home. 3mPoZ6gGN6wTPgNi4L2C

Who paid you to say this, or is this one of the staff trying to make this seem like its the perfect place, management is poor, parking is terrible, and my neighbors were extremely rude!
