We have lived in the PlumTree apartments since 1994 and would like to tell you our experience here. My wife and I are in our 70's and moved in here after searching for 3 years for a place we could move into and feel like home. We moved in 1994 and plan to live out our lives here. The reasons we picked PlumTree were; the floor plan, the closeness to Whitnal Park (many walking trails), the Botanical Gardens, and Whitnall Park Golf Course. We are within walking distance to a church, shopping, and only 15 minutes to downtown Milwaukee. We are also 10 minutes from beautiful Milwaukee County Zoo.

The management seemed to be another good reason to move here, and it was for a time. Then PlumTree was sold and there became a time of transition. Now, the past two years have been the best of our 9 years. The office staff we have now try very hard to make the apartment complex a place that feels like home. The maintenance staff are very capable and respond quickly to our needs. The grounds are very well kep as are the buildings.

The PlumTree have good policies which are well enforced. They allow dogs of any size and expect each owner to clean up after them (they even provide doggie stations to help in that cleaning up). Their parking policy allows for plenty visitor parking. Each unit has at least 2 parking spaces, 1 in the garage and the space behind it. They are also willing to look at special needs to the parking policy.

Oh yes, I could not end without telling of the club house which has a great exercise room, a large pool with a fountain and plenty of pool furniture. The club house is available for parties if needed. Many say in the summer "it seems like a resort".

Overall recommendation - Definitely
