I would like to warn anyone looking for apartments to keep on looking. My husband and I lived in Plumtree Apartments for 9 months of our 12 month lease and please let that be an indication to you that it was REALLY that bad. We have both lived in various apartments throughout college and are used to the normal way apartments are managed and what is expected of residents, so we, of course, realized that Plumtree was substandard within the first month.
Every time we called the office with a question or because we needed some maintenance, the office staff was always very rude-they never remembered our names, always seemed in a rush to get off the phone, and often had to be called multiple times for the same problem. The staff never accepted blame for anything that went wrong. Believe me, it was always our fault.
Yes, Plumtree is clean, and allows pets. So do other places in Milwaukee! The management is the worst I have ever encountered. If you are paying as much as you pay at Plumtree for an apartment, you deserve to be treated like the customer you are. Find someone who wants your business.
