We move around a lot due to our job so we experience many apartments/duplexes/rentals/etc. First I would like to say that I'm not one who only complains I have written great ratings for other apartments but this is by far the worse apartment we have ever lived in!

I will start off with the good points. Our garden view apartment was a great size, we had lots of closet space and storage space. (only problem with size is that kitchen and bathroom are very small)

However the management is very unprofessional here. ----- will blame everything on her boss or the maintence guy and will often change her story. She gossips about other people who live here. Because of this is mades it very uncomfortable to go to her with problems about other tendants.

The windows there needed to be replaced! In the winter they let nothing put cold air in and heat out. Our heating bill was consistently $250 in the winter and that was having the heat set between 68-72 degrees (we do not run a lot of electronics or anything).

There were mold and water damage problems. Up-keep in the apartments were not that great either. Missing baseboards, closet doors never stay on, kitchen drawers fall apart, huge problem with bugs (I understand every place has their typical bug/small spiders but the bugs here are not "typical" small house spiders, they are big and so are some of the other bugs we had to deal with).

Parking is horriable! There are not enough spaces for number of tendants. They tried to put a parking permit policy in place but no one ever adhered to it and visitors always park in the tendant spaces. Nothing was inforced even though they sent out occassional letters saying they would enforce it. People will block you in spots, and God forbid if there was ever a fire in the buildings because everyone here thinks that the fire lanes are just extra spaces for parking and cars will double park in them.

Walls are very thin. We could hear our neighbors talk, watch tv, and among other things (yes... you know what I'm referring to).

Hot showers literally lasted 5 minutes, sometimes the hot water wouldn't even work.

Our apartment had a constant bad smell like previous owners let their animals use the carpet as a toilet. It was very embarrassing and we didn't like to invite people over because of it.

------------------- were upset because of the large amount of money that they owed upon vacating. They tried to blame everybody or everything else for their debit. Since the debit had been validated they decided to write the above in retaliation. I hope their future landlords are not left with unpaid rent and have deal with their unreasonable personalities.

well, either things have changed or this reviewer lived in a very different appartment building than I do. I also have a garden view apartment...bugs, yes...hello we are backed up to beautiful trees, bugs are only natural. I had a water issue and it was resolved THAT DAY, I was so impressed! As for the manager and gossiping...hmm, does it really matter? Keep to yourself and mind your own affairs and it wouldn't be an issue. I have found the manager to be extremely helpful and quite friendly. Parking is an issue, I'll give you that, but mostly because people WITHOUT permits park in our sptts. I NEVER hear my neighbors unless they are in the hall directly infront of my door...and I live a door down from the laundry room! Anyway, it sounds more like this reviewer has a personal issue with the management to be able to give proper feedback. I will continue to live here and probably renew my lease when it is up...I absolutely love it here!
