To anyone looking to rent at Riverwood, I recommend that you go elsewhere. I lived at Riverwood and did not enjoy my time there at all. The management is very unresponsive to concerns, even with their "30-Day Guarantee" when you first move in. It is also hard to get in touch with someone other than through voice mail, as the office is open at irregular times for face-to-face contact and was closed early on multiple occassions when I tried to stop in there. When I moved in, none of the keys worked for my apartment and it was over 6 months before someone told me the correct code to get into the main building. The apartments, buildings and hallways are not clean at all, and most residents do not seem concerned about keeping the place presentable. We received monthly notices on how to pick up pet waste, to throw garbage in the dumpsters and about respecting the premises. None of these requests were followed. Parking is very limited because I think the apartments are extremely overcrowded. The residents were also not very well screened, as many did not care about keeping the apartments clean and were not respectful of other residents. Many nights there were loud vehicles and voices in the parking lot at late hours, and in the hallways as well. I was not happy at Riverwood at all. I know people can find something much cleaner with better residents for a much cheaper price.

I couldn't agree with you more and I would love to see the tenants take some sort of civil action against Fiduciary for the poor quality of life they are providing to its tenants. No one should be forced to live in the conditions we do at Riverwood and the only way out is to pay. They fired the last manager and brought in a new one, but he doesn't seem to be making good on his promises any more than the previous one.
