I lived in one of the townhouses here and for the most part, I loved it. The unit itself was very spacious, clean and well kept. We had a two bedroom model that had a room off the garage that could easily have been used for a 3rd bedroom. I loved the fact that there was a washer and dryer in the unit for just a small extra amount a month. The location of these apartments are very convenient. There is a Wendys right on the corner as well as gas stations, the metra station and bus station. Lake Michigan was only about 2 blocks away.

I do have a few complaints though. The furnace for the unit was in the upper level so it was VERY cold in the living room and kitchen, yet hot upstairs. We shared a porch with the unit to the right of us and they would stand outside our door and smoke while being very loud and would leave their cigarette butts on our side of the porch. They also called the police on us several times for playing music too loud when we weren't even playing music. There isn't anywhere for children to play. You are allowed one parking spot on the street and our neighbors always took ours. Luckily we had an attached garage and we just parked there or in front of it. Guests had a hard time finding somewhere to park as you couldn't park on the street and the parking lots nearby were all "permit only". The streets are all one ways and people ALWAYS drove the wrong way. Also, noise was a huge issue. I expected some noise with the train and all there, but there were often fights outside because of a bar nearby and the neighbors were always yelling and fighting outside.

All in all, if you can deal with a lot of noise and nowhere to park, this is a great place.
