If you're desperate

Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2001
A few things you should know before considering WoodCreek Apts.
They do not allow outside cable. They are not wired to have any other cable (Time Warner, etc.) strictly WoodCreek cable. They also don't offer washers or dryers or even hookups. The laundry facilities are in a small room, in the middle hallway. Unless you live in said hallway, you have to go outside in order to wash clothes. You also have to use a laundry card, of which you have to drive to another building to have money put on it.
In 2000, when I moved in, there were 4 maintenance workers. Keep in mind, there's 745 apartments. You do the math.
During my stay there, there was an individual living at WoodCreek who was arrested for having molested children.
The criteria for getting into this community is minimal. You do get exactly what you pay for. Considering the rent is so cheap, along with a very minimal security deposit, don't expect much.
If a fellow tennant complains about you, it's written down and put into your file, most of the time, you aren't even given a copy. When and if you move and put WoodCreek as a reference, they will read them any and all of those complaints put into your file.
The carpeting in most apartments is rarely changed, along with the appliances.
I would highly suggest when moving in, you bring a member of the office staff with you and take pictures, along with making sure you do your move out inspection with the manager. Charges seem to appear after you've moved out.
The lights in the parking lots are very minimal. There are no security locks on the outside doors. Anyone can come into the buildings at any given time.
The walls are paper thin. You can not only hear each and every time someone enters the building, you can hear every time they open their apt. door. If you happen to live on the first floor, you hear every footstep upstairs.
WoodCreek does pay for water and gas, however, in the grey apts, the stoves are electric.
I'd only recommend these apartments to college kids and/or first time apt. renters.
