The worst place ever

I lived there and had to actually terminate my lease early beacuse i couldn't stand living there anymore. It was terrible, loud and man are there a bunch of inconsiderate people around.
The worst was when my downstairs neighbor commited suicide in his apartment. He sat down there for five days before anybody found him. When they did find out, they were total jerks about it. They told me they couldn't do anything about the "remnants" of this dude.
Also, if you want to get away with stuff, date the management. One of my neighbors dated the office lady and was able to keep a dog at no additional charge.
Don't move here, there are better places, like jail.

After much consideration I strongly object to the absolute moral of this review. I believe this to be completley haughty and distasteful. I think if you cared about the man who did this you would have more repspect for his family and friends to make a determination that no one cared for this man. Also as far as having loud and inconsiderate neighbors I find this to be untrue everyone at the Ridges is very respectful. I don't have any knowledge as to managers dating the residents however I can guarantee everyone is treated equally. Sincerely ALi

I totally agree with Ali. Before I moved into the Ridges, I read this review. I thought to myself that he was very disrespectful to that poor man's family and friends to have talked about his ultimate demise that way and make it all about him. Anyone with that much anger and bitterness has to be very hard to deal with anyway. You have to accept a certain amount of noise when you live in an apartment, and you don't get to choose your neighbors. I have met some of my neighbors, and they all seem very nice, and VERY outgoing. Thank god this guy moved, that's all I can say. Cheers to you Ali, you go girl! Sincerely, Chrissy |

I can not speak for others but I moved in about 5 months ago into apt 38 and I have loved it. My neighbors are very nice and extremely friendly. Not once have I walked to or from my car without a warm hello from ANYONE that has passed from any building. The residents are great and the managment truly seems to care and tries their best to install and community feel to Ridges. Very well maintained, GREAT landscaping and I don't have to shovel anymore. What more could I ask for. I would say if you need a spot to lay your head and you like the Lake Geneva area, you'll be hard pressed to find a better community. And as far as the noise this one man complained about. Guess what? It's an apartment, dogs bark, kids play, heck people even argue here and again, that's called life. But I'll tell you one thing, I've never heard ANYTHING in excess. Dogs that bark are quickly quieted and the sound of children playing never should. Thank you all for your time. Rick
