I lived at 538 W.Main a few years ago ('01-'03). I really liked it. I fell in love with my studio from the first time I saw it. I loved the shower and the kitchen! I lived in the back apartments that are set off the street. I was leary at first because they are set off the street but the area is well lit and I never had a problem. The neighborhood is also in the student area so there were always people coming and going. The thing I think I really loved more than anything was Phil, the owner. He was soooo cool. He was always there to help me (I lost my keys a couple of times). He was always able to come over and let me in. He was also REALLY on top of everything. I had noisy neighbors and he always took care of it. I had broken blinds and he replaced them. I loved him. I haven't had a owner/manager that good since.
