I lived for four years in the front building at this address, and loved it. It's a large, attractive, spacious one-bedroom with recently refinished hardwood floors and plenty of light. My plants loved it. The place is extremely well-maintained: the only repairs it ever required were minor ones, and these were always performed within 48 hours - often on the very same day.
Phil Hees, the building owner, is hands down the best landlord I've ever rented from. He's a really good guy who's genuinely interested in keeping his properties in good shape. Phil is extremely responsible and reasonable, and I've recommended him to many friends.
The maintenance staff is also, to a man, friendly and courteous, and they always did very good work.
Had I stayed in Madison longer, I would have remained at this building.

I should also mention that I marked "parking" as "adequate" because I did not have on-site parking; I parked on the street, and rarely had to drive more than two blocks away to find a space.
