After spending some more time here after my initial review, I can honestly say I wouldn't recommend this place to ex-convicts.

In the time I lived here, there were two fires, several robberies, and a shooting, just to name the crime. Loud music playing at all hours of the day, people screaming and fighting everywhere, unsupervised children running rampant throughout the complex, the list goes on and on.

Then we approach the maintenance issue. The locks on the garage access doors were broken up until the day before the fire inspectors came through, not that it does much good, because the main garage door was broken and stuck in the up position half the time anyway. Don't get me started on the pest issue - when we complained about mice, instead of calling an exterminator, we were given glue traps for our apartment. The phone lines didn't work from day one, much to my dismay after ordering a DSL package and finding out I couldn't even get service in the building. The management insisted the problem was outside the complex, the phone company said that it was inside, and nothing ever got fixed.

"Approachable" is how I would describe management, "Competent" not so much. I would go as far as to say if the place would be shut down, the property value in the area would probably be raised considerably.

Moral of the story: AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Original Review:
The apartments themselves are nice, and I really can't complain about a three bedroom that only runs at $800. Management is friendly and approachable, and maintenance is usually done in short order (sometimes even the same day).

The only downside I've experienced thus far is the parking...if you have more than one car, then only one can be parked in the underground garage; otherwise, you'll have to find a spot in the upper lot, which is not only difficult (especially in the winter), but it's also a one-lane road, and you'll probably find yourself waiting for traffic to clear. Go slow upthe ramp to make sure you don't hit someone/thing. The kids in the lower buildings near the entrance tend to play in the road leading up to the lot, so that makes driving through extremely dangerous - not that it stops some of the tenants from flying through.

Other than that, it's a pretty nice place to live. The facilities are well-kept, and if you get to know the neighbors, you shouldn't have too many problems. Everything but electricity and cable is included (the AC is electric, so keep that in mind), so it's a really good deal, if you can get past the parking situation.

Completely forgot about this. What a difference a year makes.

I feel this is a very inaccurate review of this apartment complex - crime, property damage, and noise are not addressed. Cheap rent is not worth it.
