My positive recommondation is given with mixed feelings. This is the sort of place that you get what you pay for. The buildings are old, and so the walls are kind of thin. It's generally not too bad when you're in an apartment, but when you're walking down the hallway you can tell exactly what people are watching on tv in each apartment.

I have not had any problems with the office staff or maintinance. In fact, they have always been timely and polite.

The problem I have is the neighborhood. Children (even very young children) are left to play and ride bikes in the parking lot unattended... I'm afraid one of them is going to dart out from between parked cars while I'm driving up the driveway. People leave trash in the hallways and parking lots. While staff tries to keep it clean (I see people out there picking up every day), there is tons of litter again by the end of the day.

Visitors often park their cars alongside the buildings and yell into open first floor windows at all hours of the day and night, honking horns and even having arguments.

The only thing staff could do to improve the place is to get better tenants. Also, they could improve the laundry facilities in the basement (but the apartments have W/D hookups, so you can get around using those machines if you want to) because the machines are often broken or working poorly.

All things considered, we paid a fair price for a decently-sized apartment. As I said, I have no problems with the staff or management company, and would rent from them again in a nicer area.
