when we first moved in it was great. never had a problem with anything and when we did with the apartment itself it was fixed instantly. so far, never bugs seen and very clean in the whole building. management is great and very willing to work with you in times of crisis.
my issues now:
*plumbing sucks!
*when we moved in, we told management that we worked 2nd and 3rd shift, so we didn't want to be a bother to our neighbors. and for the first 2 years it wasn't a problem.
we are not loud but do live our lives in hours that some sleep.
first i will say one thing, i do not care if i hear my neighbors because i chose to live in an apartment complex. so what is pissing me off is my new neighbors! i hear banging on the wall at 11:00pm because me and my boyfriend are talking. i hear her loud ass bird all day long and would never complain which she has. and on the other side i hear barking all day long, once again, that is okay with me because i chose to let management turn this into a dog building. so i think it really sucks when you have to mute everything you do when it's not even that loud just because your neighbor can't handle a little noise when her animals put out more noise in a day that i could in a month. i just want to add one thing to the noise, we are both professionals and when we talk, it's not loud, so why bang on the wall, should i every time i hear her bird go nuts and loud should i call management' i never would because i chose to live in an apartment complex that allow pets!
*my previous venting is why one of the reasons we are leaving when are lease is up but not the only. times are hard and we just can't pay what they want anymore so we have to.

I have lived at Arbor Hills for quite a while now, and I still don't understand why a couple would choose to use the bedroom that shares a wall with their neighbors, when there is a middle bedroom.

I think im the one your bitching about as a matter of a fact im sure of it WE have NEVER banged on the walls and were not that loud i got rid of the bird right way i was fostering him for my work! Why if your really so professional just come talk to us..?
