HVAC is terrible (don't get an apartment with a wall unit, you freeze in the winter, boil in the summer, and it is noisy-get an apartment with a thermostat instead)!!!! Skylights cost $400 for shades. Washer/dryer is really LOUD, and has ruined some of my clothes (when the near by construction crews flush the pipes, my water was colored and stained my clothes). Can hear our neighbors fighting/partying. Can smell our neighbors cooking/smoking. Residents leave aluminum cans/trash/cigarette butts in the grounds. Some Students here blast their music. Trash is overflowing (both mail trash and garage trash). The building is shifting/sinking-causing walls to crack wide open. Can take over two months to get things fixed, if ever. Elevator rarely works, for days at a time. Storage in basement is TINY, adult bikes don't fit inside. Underground parking is very tight, door dings galore! Exiting the garage can be dangerous-who knows what is around the corner/shrub/car. Exercise room is packed at peak time. Parking lot gets flooded with a lot of rain, so mud tracks in everywhere. No bus route. Porch is too little/no cover from the sun. Residents leave the front door propped open for deliveries/friends-unsafe.
