I have lived at Heather Valley for over 3 years now. I chose this community for the pet-friendly environment, few units per building/entryway and because the grounds looked so well kept. Since I've moved in, I have added a dog to my household, noticed even more improvements to the grounds and had every service request attended to.

The management has let me paint my apartment to make it more homey and has always taken the time to call me by name and greet me if they see me on the grounds. They have also gone out of their way to get to know my dog and they greet her by name with a friendly "hello".

Although I occasionally run into something that could use repair or tightening, that's something I expect...just as I would expect the same wear & tear if it were a home that I owned. I get a little moisture on the inside of my bedroom window that, if I neglect it, turns to mold/mildew. All it takes to keep it off is to keep the window wiped down from time to time (keeping my apartment clean is my responsibility).

Overall, this has been one of my best renting experiences & I have no plans to ever rent anywhere else...my only move will be when I purchase my own home. Heather Valley has been an affordable, friendly & safe place for me & I would recommend it as a nice place to live.
