It is obvious from reading, and our personal hell hole experience, that there are false reviews on this message board. It is very obvious that the office staff (like the big haired B-----) or others have falsely reviewed to get their ratings up. When they are few days apart from each other, seem to follow a specific pattern and word usage, there is definatly a fraudulant reviews posted.
I was constantly sick because of the horrid mold and mildew problems. After bleaching the place down once a week, I finallly had to tell them to get it done professionally or pay for my mounting doctor bills. They sent the regular maint. man who did a really bad job at it. The same man tried fixing our toilet three times (when he only needed to dish out $5. for the new part that was needed), finally after it overflowing into our downstairs neighbor's bathroom, did it get fixed right. We only had one neighbor tht was good. The others were drunken kids, loud dogs that bellowed and attacked people. While on the conversation of dogs, there was dung everywhere! I give them credit for putting out baggies for everyone to use, but nobody used them. Appliances among other things just loved to stop working. paint was peeling off the walls, and it was just a dump overall. We had the same security deposit issues that someone else did. They forgot to put our check into the computer or something, but cashed it anyway, and decided to try and keep it. It got to the point that they sent a lawyer/collection agency on us.
The office people are another issue all together. There was a younger girl who was nice, but the Beth ('the big haired b...') was rude, and a total snob. You want to know why they 'know your name', its because you have to go there a lot to get everything fixed. They show you this model that looks nothing like what you will actually live in. They had berber carpet to begin with, and marble counter tops, we had the cheapest crap you could get. And while we were living there, they did not update our apartment, instead, they revamped the model at least twice... including new carpet...
I know there are a ton of things I am not even remembering. To sum it up: Heather Valley is FRAUD VALLEY.
