This complex is simply the best apartment living I've ever had.

Once I got used to the whirrr of traffic on the beltline I settled in nicely. The carpeting and the appliances were brand new. There is per-room heat controls which will save you money in winter. They are extremely pet friendly and, althought the pent rent is unusually high ($25/mo) they do provide baggies for dogs throughout the grounds.

Bus stops are located along the complex. A huge ultrascreen movie theater is 2 blocks away. The mall is half a mile away. Too many restaurants and stores to even list, all close by!

Parking has never been an issue for me, although in the newer buildings I can see where the spaces are limited. Nevertheless, if the tenants who griped about parking would have been willing to walk 50 feet they'd have a spot. I think their laziness is what concerns them.

Mold is not an issue anywhere I've been, including here. I think the string of negative reviews were all submitted by the same individual who just had a lot of free time on his hands.

The complaints I have are small: The parking lot is in dire need of resurfacing in some spots, the parking light out in our lot has been on/off for more than a year now (it goes out, comes back on, goes out, etc.), and the snow removal can be slow at times. Also, the idea of having mailboxes mounted outside in a location central to everyone is rather odd; I'd prefer to have my mailbox in my apartment building but that is a small consideration.

Beth Ripp & co. have always been more than responsive to maintanance issues. The move-in checklist was addressed the day after I moved in.

All in all this place is the best I've been in and I've signed on for another year. If you are not lazy and willing to walk a few feet for parking then you'll be just fine.

This review is so blatantly written by Beth Ripp, manager of Heather Valley, that it makes me want to retch. Beth Ripp is more than deceitful enough to misrepresent a posting on this site, and I wouldn't trust ANY of the positive listings-- I read them all, and they were obviously written to elicit response from prospective tenants, and her boss (by listing things SHE wants done). I have personally witnessed Beth Ripp's divulging of personal information regarding tenants and staff, including insults, priviliged information, and overall malicious behavior on her part. Don't rent here as long as she has anything to do with this property. And, BETH, many of us are just horrified that you are in the position of manager of anything, and nobody, including bosses and co-workers, and certainly tenants, should trust a thing you say. You need help, and we know your tricks! I repeat, don't rent here unless Beth Ripp has nothing to do with the property. It's just my opinion-- let the truth stand unless you're afraid of it.
