I have lived at Heather Valley for over one year, and I really am happy to say I don't have many complaints. Most of what I have read from other residents on this website seem like common apartment issues. As far as I know, the mold problem only exsists in the 'cookie-cutter' buildings, not in the ones towards the back of the complex. The residents in my building are very nice, although I couldn't tell you any of their names. Most of us have dogs in my building, the only time I hear them is when we're in the hallways. I can't hear anything through the walls.

My only gripe is the parking situation. For the 2 or 3 buildings near mine, we all share the same parking lot. If I get home any later than 7:00 I have to park about 50 yards away, and if I get home later than that I don't get a spot at all. Some of the residents, including me, have to 'makeup a spot' near the fire lane. I refuse to park 4 buildings down when I'm carrying groceries or kids in the house. Not to mention, paying upwards of $900 a month, I don't feel as though I should have to park far away. I don't know why this problem is so bad on our side of the complex.. whether it's too many residents/not enough parking spots, or if it's too many guests and there isn't assigned parking spots. It might be easier if each apartment had at least one assigned parking spot.
