I feel very fortunate to have made my home at High Point Woods for 14 years. In my one bedroom apartment I have a washer & dryer and an unbelievable about of closets & cupboards for its size. Besides the usual appliances a ceiling fan, microwave & much needed new intercom system was installed in the last few years.

My apartment is kept clean and all necessary repairs are done ASAP after I notify the office of a problem. Appliances, counter-tops & flooring that failed due to age were replaced. As a courtesy to a senior citizen, a grab bar was installed in the bathroom, a railing on the stairway, and a handicap parking space provided near the exit door of the building in the year I got the sticker.

All maintenance work has been done to my satisfaction by trustworthy, competant employees. Any assistance I need is given in a friendly matter.

The security system seems adequate with locked outer doors. There is a smoke alarm in the apartment and the hallway, well lit exits, and an alarm device. One fire door has needed repair so that it closes properly.

The clubhouse is a pleasant place to do business or just visit. There is a pool, jacuzzi, exercise room, video library, business services and a large room equipt for having semi-annual parties which are provided for all tenants with good food and varied entertainment. All the areas are kept clean, even the restrooms.

The office staff is friendly and efficient, readily seeking an answer to problem I might be having a tenant. I am always greeted with a smile. We do not have a noise problem as they do a good job at enforcing quit hour code. They accept parcels and save tenants a trip to the post office if they are not home at time of delivery. Also, answer various questions about bus schedules, shopping areas, ect.

The grounds look well, with a hired lawn serveice. Litter is picked up, in summer beautiful flowers are seen in gardens and around the pool area. The complex roads have been resurfaced several times.

There has been a snow removal problem in the parking areas in the past years, but the sidewalks are cleared adequetely. Its winter and we have ice and snow!!

With all the good features, how can I not be happy here for years to come'
