Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
My first year here was not so bad, actually liked it. Buildings were run down but I got a good deal on rent special and it seemed quiet at first. Second year was aweful, even was thinking about subletting just to get out. First started with 2 sets of bad neighbors that Partied all the time - almost every night of the week in the summer they partied drunk until 3:00 am at the pool (my apt is next to the pools - so lot of noise in the summer). Also, management didn't seem to care even though pool closes at 10:00 pm (I was shock they allow people to drink alcohol at the pool - how safe is that). Drunks (same neighbors and their 10 friends) at the pool EVERY DAY of the summer, throwing full cans of beer at each other in the pool - with little kids around - needless to say, stopped going to the pool for the summer - management won't do anything. Fireworks lit at all hours of the night, right at the pool - flying right at the apt buildings and windows.
After summer was over, though I was over the noise nightmare, but then came the other set of bad neighbors. Cranked stereo so loud that my pictures on my walls were shaking. Finally, after several incidents of this and the final straw being stereo cranked at 3:00 in the morning on weekday, I filed my first complaint ever to the Leasing office to my neighbors. One day later - I get a noise complaint on me - asked leasing office why and details - had no proof and not very helpful.
Other things were - maintance requests taking long time to fix, safety issues, property trashed alot, TV in fitness center has been gone 3 months - probably won't ever get it back. All in property is going down hill and some of the people that are moving into the apt complex are less than desirable neighbors.
One good thing is the leasing office people our nice but they need to run the place better
