I don't think they are allowed to tell you, by law, that's why they give the address of the website on their application, so you can check it out ahead of time.
I also wonder why, if it was so bad here, most of these people stayed two years' I have lived here for a couple of years now, and I'm pretty happy with the place. I have had a few problems, but they were taken care of within a couple of days. They even gave me a key to use a vacant apartment washer, while my new one was being ordered. The appliances aren't brand new(well, my washer is now!) but I did have new carpet in my apartment. I will most likely renew for another year.
