We've lived here a year and love the apartment. Our only problem is that it is too far from downtown, willy street, state street, etc... Not too far from East Towne if that is your thing. Very close walking distance to grocery store, gas station, Walgreen's, coffe shop and a few restaurants, but for some reason the northside just isn't right for us. The parking lot can be kind of bad in the winter and our sidewalk up to the building wasn't shoveled soon after it snowed on a few occaisons so be prepared to walk through snow and shovel your car out, but overall the apartment treated us well. Plenty of room, giant ceiling and staircases. The Patio door was a little drafty in the winter, but could've been solved with some of that plastic wrap I guess. Noise isn't much of a problem, we went 8 months not hearing a single thing through the wall. Every once in a while noise comes through the door, but never a problem sleeping. Overall I would suggest it if you're looking for an affordable place next to many ammenities. Definitely not a neighborhood with a nightlife though.
