First impressions mean a lot, and ours was a good one.

-We got a parking spot right in front of the door to the rental office, so parking has yet to be a problem for us.

-Walking into the office the first thing I noticed was how nice it looked, and we were greeted by a smiling young woman behind the counter, ready to help us immediately. It was only about 30 seconds that we ended up sitting down waiting for the rental manager to show us the places. He was very polite and friendly and gave off a generally good vibe. Customer service gets a 5 out of 5.

-The manager showed us as many places as we wanted to see, including the exact apartment that we applied for when we came back the next day. He even took us into the 1 bedroom lofts just because we asked.

-Yes, the models will always look nicer than the actualy apartments, which is why you have to look at the apartment you'll be living in. Looking at the apartment we would be renting, we noticed a stain on the carpet and mentioned it in passing. Immediately, the manager inspected the entire carpeting and decided that it should be replaced. He also said they were going to repaint the balcony because it looked a bit weathered. We didn't even need to ask. He was also very prompt in getting us some quotes on their professional painting prices when we came back to turn in our applications.

Overall our pre-renting experience has been pleasurable, which some might take for granted. One day they will encounter a "bad landlord" and understand how important first impressions really are.
