I have lived here for about a month now, and so far I love my loft! I find that with my storage space, I have plenty of room for my "stuff".I do technically live alone, but my boyfriend is over quite a bit, and I don't run into problems with space. I can't really hear voices or music from the neighbors on the sides of me, but occasionally I can hear my upstairs neighbors running up and down their stairs. Overall, I think it's pretty cool. Make sure you pick a color to have them paint too! SUCH a nice feature! I hope you are happy with the decision you make!! I know I am!
