Horrible Experiences

From the first day I moved in this place has been nothing but problems. First the place that they show you is really nice, and then you move into yours and it is horrible. The day we moved in it,it smelled like wet dog, our dryer didnt work, the screen door was off the hinges, etC. It was horrible. I wish that I could say things got better but they havent. It took four visits from maintence to get a new dryer. Then the best part is that my car, and three other buildings, got broken into, while in the underground parking area. When I called them to tell them about it, they felt that they could honestly say that their place was safe. Meanwhile the front door of my apartment still doesnt close- 1.5 months later and the door security system doesnt work. Lovely. And while I am at it, let me tell you about the office staff. One in the office is very satisfied with their 62% satisfaction rate. Her response- "We are the 12th best apartment in Madison". I wish that I could do my job with only a 62% satisfaction rating. I wouldnt have to work hardly at all. In summary, I would not recommend this apartment to anyone at all. I would highly recommend Cortland Commons, far superior apartments.

I think it's amazing that this person's car is a building, and it's a little alarming that some of the buildings apparently venture into the underground parking garage occasionally.

If you lived there you would know that there parking is underground below their apartments, which is where the car break ins occured. Unfortunately once they are able to get into the garage they also have access to the apartments because, at least in this case, their escape route was up the stairs and through the hallway where the apartments are. Very scary. So to clarify for you the car is not the building, but resided within the building. Use some common sense please.

They hooked me in by showing me a really nice apartment and stuck me in a unit that was no where near as nice as well.

I have never been to this complex before. I am just looking up reviews to do some research before I sign another lease. HOWEVER - If someone signs a lease for an appartment they have never physically set foot it, they should be stuck in a s*** hole if thats what they get. Rule number one of renting & buying - NEVER SIGN FOR SOMETHING YOU HAVEN'T LOOKED AT!!! I hear the stories all the time of someone that bought a house in another state from an online national company and when they get to the house, its soooo much smaller. Frankly, if they "hooked" you in because you were to stupid to look at the unit you were going to lease, then you deserve anything come to you!
