Internal posts to boost apartment ratings'

I feel the family that owns this apartment monitors its ratings on this site very close. Anytime a negative review is posted, there is always a mass effort from an anomymous person to boost the ratings back up above 70%. I no longer live in this complex and cannot comment on what goes on there but still receive email updates about comments on the place and have notice that a month or two will go by with no comments. As soon as there is a comment posted (usually a negative comment with a username backing up the post) there are 2 to 3 positive anomymous comments to boost the ratings up. My question to anyone reading these threads is, are you going to believe a comment by someone with a username backing their comments or someone that wishes to respond anonymously' I am willing to bet the last dollar in my wallet that the anonymous positive posts that counter the negative posts with a username behind it come from the same IP address. The defensive reply to the IP address being the same is that the complex does offer free internet and the tenants could be using the free internet offered through the complex to reply to these threads. I myself paid for my own internet while living in the complex because I needed alot of bandwidth and did notice at least a dozen other wireless internet connections floating around the complex leading me to believe I am not the only person that was willing to pay for internet even though it was offered for free. I had mixed reviews of the apartment complex while living there. I did not like the front office at all. I felt they were rather snobby and didnt keep on top of addressed issues. On the other hand I do need to tip my hat and complement the maintance crew. They were very friendly and did the best they could to make the renting experience more enjoyable. I agree with the positive comments about what great options the complex has to offer but I also agree with the negative comments about the unusuall amount of loud social parties. Take both negative and positive comments into concideration and ignor the overall rating for these apartments for I feel they are tainted.

I am the maintenance manager for the company that owns and operates Maple Grove Apartments. I also live on the Maple Grove site. I first want to thank you for your rating and comments. Let me begin by addressing each of your concerns.
I have worked in maintenance for many years and I can explain part of the reason that you may feel our response to you has been ???hit or miss.??? This past winter, the worst in recent recorded history, was a nightmare for any rental property owner. We had many serious concerns due to the weather this winter. I will admit that our maintenance efforts were strained and as a result, it is possible that we might not have handled some of the maintenance calls at 100%. However, I personally went back in all of our records, and I could not find any maintenance call regarding a broken door frame.
Let me make it very clear that any and all concerns can be addressed to me personally and I will take care of them. Go to the Maple Grove office and ask for the maintenance manager. When you speak with the office staff, you can even specifically refer to this posting on apartmentratings.com. I sincerely hope that the original poster of this rating will personally contact me so that we can address his/her concerns immediately.
In regards to the patio screen doors, I have been meeting with local vendors the past month to find replacement parts and doors so that we can begin that necessary work.
In regards to the noise concern, tenants need to call the emergency line and notify us in the event of loud noise. We will always respond, usually within 5 minutes, and address the situation.
In regards to the vandalism and crime, I would like to say that Madison is a growing community and like any growing community there are going to be issues with crime. We were already in the process of taking preventive measures to address this concern. We are installing a state of the art security system and security cameras will be in all of the parking areas ??? above ground and underground.
Again, I hope I hear from you very soon. Please ask for the maintenance manager at the Maple Grove office.
