I have lived at Maple Grove for more than 10 years. In the last 4 years I have had a funny-looking little dog who thinks everyone was put on earth to play with her. Not only are the management receptive (they supply dog waste bag stations and are very kind when we visit the office), but the maintenance guys are very tolerant when she play attacks them when they come to make a repair. The neighbors are friendly and laugh at her (for good reason). When she slipped out of her collar one day and was running loose, the manager and staff were visibly upset and said they would look out for her. While I was out looking for her, someone found her and brought her to a neighbor who knows me. The management notified me and were glad to see her back. Some of the neighboring dogs have play dates. My dog even had a resident boy-friend dog with little beard who she used to run up to, throw her paws around his neck and wrestle him to the ground in front of eveybody. (Her owner has never had the guts to do this with a male of her species.)
Generally Maple Grove is very well-maintained. I have seen maintenance guys out at 6:30am even on weekends shoving and laying down salt. They put in long days making sure the walkways, parking lots and driveways are safe.
I think that the general atmosphere is not only dog-friendly but people-friendly as well. I feel safe and very comfortable here. It is also a good value for the money. I would not have stayed this long if it were not.

Wow I couldn't agree more, the shoveling and laying salt last year was quite a challenge but one they met head on. I was so impressed I called at least twice to express my gratitude and to let them know their efforts weren't going unnoticed.
